Improvising Song Melody
When the melody of a song has two or more upward steps you may embellish the melody by skipping a third below the melody note and playing sixteenth notes up to the next melody note. When the melody of a song has two or more downward steps, you may embellish the melody by skipping a third above the melody note and playing sixteenth notes down to the next melody note.
